AOD 2013 takes place in San Francisco's historic "Japantown" neighborhood. Our main event space (including Registration) is located within the Hotel Kabuki, a Japanese-style hotel. Additional event space includes portions of the nearby NEW PEOPLE CENTER and the Hotel Tomo.

Getting Around Japantown
Our three venues, Hotel Kabuki, Hotel Tomo, and the NEW PEOPLE Center, are just a quick 3-minute walk from one another! Check out this map for details:
Parking
The Japan Center Garage, located underground right below the hotel, is your most convenient option for parking at our event. There is also a limited amount of street parking (both metered and non-metered) in the vicinity of the hotel.
Wherever you choose to park, please exercise discretion and keep valuable items out of sight or take them with you. The hotel and convention are not liable for missing, stolen, or lost items.
Public Transit
The bus lines stopping closest to the hotel are the 2, 3, 4, and 38/38L. If you're taking BART, exit at the Montgomery station and catch the Muni 38 bus up the hill. The nearest Muni Metro station is Van Ness, from which you can get to the hotel by taking the 49 up Van Ness (towards Geary) and then either transfer to the 38 at Geary or walk 3-4 blocks on Geary up the hill to the hotel.
